Thank you for choosing Rent a Hen and House with Howard Harvest. This Shipping Policy outlines the delivery and shipping terms for our chicken rental packages and accessory items.
1. Local Delivery of Chicken Rentals (Coops + Hens)
All chicken rental packages—including hens, coops, feed, and related equipment—are delivered in person by our team. We do not ship live animals or coops through third-party carriers.
Standard Delivery Area:
We provide free delivery and end-of-season pickup within a 30-mile radius of Hudson, Wisconsin.
Extended Delivery Area:
Delivery outside this range may be possible on a case-by-case basis, subject to:

2. Shipping of Accessory Items (Optional Purchases)
Select accessory items, such as egg holders, chicken toys, or coop enhancements, may be available for individual purchase and shipment.
Shipping Terms for Accessories:

Shipping is only available for eligible non-living, non-bulky items.

Shipping availability is at the discretion of Rent a Hen and House.

Orders are processed within 5–7 business days.

We currently only ship within the United States.
3. No Live Animal or Coop Shipping
We do not ship live chickens, portable coops, or any part of the rental package through the mail or commercial freight. All such items are personally delivered and picked up by our team to ensure animal welfare and equipment safety.
